Maintaining and restoring properties under our supervision is the primary goal of the Conservancy. DMFC provides ongoing maintenance and improvements for the hiking/equestrian trails on its properties. It is associated with several university affiliated research projects studying black abalone, bats and endangered plant or animal species. The Conservancy is actively involved in fire hazard reduction, non- native plant removal and native plant restoration.
